Complementary Therapy Taster or Pamper Parties

We offer Pamper or Spa Parties for the Dundee and Angus areas in comfort of your own home so treat yourself and friends to a selection of our therapies including head massages, Reiki, hand/foot massages, hopi ear candling, mini facials, reflexology, back & shoulder massage. Each guest will receive 2 x 20 minute treatments for £20.

If you are staying in the Dundee, Angus or Tayside area then we can visit your accomodation and offer our pampering party sessions or even a pamper weekend.

We have experience of providing pamper parties (massages, reiki, facials and other complementary therapy treatments) to guests staying at Forbes of Kingennie Country Resorts and Piperdam lodges.

This is a great opportunity for you and your friends or family to treat yourself to a pamper session in the comfort of your own home. Find out more about these therapies and their benefits plus sample a short session of therapies that you wish to try.

These complimentary therapy parties are ideal for a girls' night in, hen parties, birthdays, pre/post pregnancy or wedding pamper or any other occasion that you want to celebrate.

Parties can be arranged for Dundee (including Broughty Ferry and West Ferry, Piperdam), Angus (including Arbroath, Carnoustie, Letham, Monifieth, Kingennie) and Fife (including Newport and Tayport and St. Andrew's) as well as other areas in Tayside.

The complementary therapy treatments that can be offered at a party include:

• Reiki
• Indian /Tibetan Acupressure Head Massage
• Neck Shoulder and Upper Back Massage
• Hopi Ear Candling
• Foot massage
• Mini Facial
  reflexology
• Thai Hand Massage

Each person attending a party will receive two 20 minute treatments of their choice at a price of £20.

Please note that a Hopi Ear Candling session will require two 20 minute sessions. If someone would like one treatment for 40 minutes then this can also be arranged.

Anyone hosting a Pamper Party will receive a £10 gift voucher to use towards a future treatment of their choice.

We can provide treatments for 4 to 7 people at a party.

DETAILS OF TREATMENTS AVAILABLE AT PAMPER PARTIES

REIKI (Ray-Key):
Reiki provides healing on all levels – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.  Reiki balances and strengthens the body’s energy promoting its ability to heal itself.  This is a safe and natural hands-on therapy carried out in a lying down position and the client remains fully clothed throughout the treatment.

INDIAN/TIBETAN ACUPRESSURE  HEAD MASSAGE:
This treatment includes a massage of the head, neck, shoulders, arms, face and ears.  A specific technique is used to reach deep seated tension in the muscles.  This therapy is carried out in a seated position or lying down position with the client remaining fully clothed.

NECK, SHOULDER & UPPER BACK MASSAGE:
This treatment is carried out directly on skin using oils that will help to reduce tension in the muscles in this area and help to promote relaxation.   

FOOT MASSAGE:
This is a great treatment for tired and aching feet.  A number of movements on the feet will help to relax your feet and benefits include improving circulation, reducing stiffness and improving flexibility.

MINI FACIAL:
During this treatment your face will be cleansed, toned and a face mask applied.  Once the mask is removed moisturiser will be applied and the facial will be completed with a relaxing facial massage.

THAI HAND MASSAGE:
This treatment includes a massage of hands and arms in a seated position.  This massage is very soothing and is excellent in improving circulation in the arms and hands.

Before Party
On booking a party, the host will receive details of the treatments that will be available at the party and hand these out to everyone attending the party.
Those attending the party will choose their two treatments and inform the host as soon as possible.
The host will then let us know who is attending the party and what treatments they would like to receive. The host should forward this information to us no later than 48 hours before the party. We will then complete a party timetable.

During Party
We will arrive at your home approximately half an hour before the start time of the party to set up. In order for everyone to feel totally relaxed during treatments it is preferable that we can set up in a different room from that where the other guests will be, i.e. bedroom, dining room, conservatory.
If there are any questions about any of the treatments we will be happy to answer them during the course of the evening.
